Dance Studio Policies

Registration

            A one time, non-refundable registration fee of $15.00 per student is required to hold your  spot in the summer workshops sessions.  This registration is good for summer sessions  only!  (Current A.T.D. students – no registration fee required)

Tuition

            TUITION IS DUE ON OR BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS.  Tuition  fees are non-refundable after the first day of class.  There are no make-ups for  summer classes.   However, credit can be applied toward fall tuition.  Not going to be  here for all these dates?  We prorate tuition to accommodate your vacation and summer schedule. Check with the studio office for more details!

Holiday

            July 4-8^th         Holiday/Competition

Snacks

          Snacks are provided by the staff.  Dancers may bring their own snacks as well. 

Attendance

Attendance is recorded at the beginning of each class.  Please plan to arrive 5-10   minutes early prior to class to prepare, change, etc.  Please call the studio if you are running late or going to be absent. 

Parent Observation

            Parents may observe from outside the studio through the two way windows in each  studio.  Parents may not enter into the studio unless invited by the instructor. 

Dress Code

            All students must dress out appropriately for dance class.  Hair must be pulled

            back from their face, in a bun, ponytail or French braid. 

            Ballet:  Pink tights, black leotard, leather ballet shoes.  Hair must be in a bun.

            Jazz:  Black jazz pants or capris, black jazz shoes, leotard or camisole.

            Tap:  Black tap shoes, any solid color leotard and warm-up pants.

            Hip Hop:  Black hip hop sneakers and loose, comfortable clothing. 

NO JEANS, STREET SHOES, GUM OR FOOD ARE ALLOWED INSIDE THE STUDIO!

AUDITIONS

*Company & Hip Hop Auditions – please pick up an audition packet for more details on the requirements and commitments for being a member of company and/or hip hop team.   Being a member of company and or hip hop team is a huge commitment of time and money. 

It is recommended that all potential company or team members take at least one of the summer intensives.  New hopefuls and returning dancers for company and/or hip hop team must take the audition workshop in order to try out. 

*Company Auditions will be held on August 13 at 4 p.m.

*Hip Hop Team Auditions will be held on August 14 at 10 a.m.

Ballet Corps dancers will have class every Tuesday and Thursday from 3-5 p.m. on the weeks listed above. Ballet apprentice corps dancers are required to attend ongoing ballet classes and take at least 1 of the summer ballet intensives. 

Adult Tap every Tuesday from 12 noon to 2 p.m. with Mr. Zach  $25
