Dress Code

2009 - 2010

 Students must dress appropriately for dance class.  No jeans are allowed in dance class!  Hair should be pulled back and out of your child’s face.  Please do not wear your dance shoes outside of the studio or street shoes inside on the studio floor!  Please label all dance items!  Students must wear the appropriate footwear to participate in dance class. Students who are not dressed out properly for dance will not be allowed to participate in class!

Ballet              Pink tights, pink ballet slippers, hip-alignment belt (Primary and older), and black leotard.  Ballet skirts are allowed at the teacher’s discretion.  Hair must be worn in a bun or a French braid.  Please check with your ballet teacher for more information.

Jazz                Black jazz pants or tights, black jazz shoes, solid color leotard or camisole.  No T-shirts allowed.  Long hair should be pulled up in a ponytail or bun.

Tap                 Black tap shoes, any solid color top and warm-up pants.  Long hair should be worn out of your face, either in a ponytail, bun or French braid. 

Hip Hop         Black jazz sneakers, warm-ups and hair should be out of your face. NO street shoes allowed in class or on the dance floors!
